Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) Cool unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- ½ tsp. Salt
- 2 Large eggs, cold
- ½ tbsp. Vanilla extract
- 3 cups All-purpose flour
- ½ tsp. Ground cardamom
Directions
Prep the cookie dough
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Place Silicone Baking Sheet with Rim on metal baking sheet and set aside.
- Mix butter, sugar and salt just until combined. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix. Add dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
Roll out & bake
- Roll out dough to ¼in thick and cut using desired cookie cutters.
- Place Silicone Baking Sheet with Rim on baking sheet and place arrange cookies. Bake for 12-14 minutes.
- Let cool for 2 minutes and serve warm or room temperature.**If decorating cookies with glaze, allow them to cool completely before decorating.
