Soft & Beautiful Burger Buns

Ingredients
For dough
- ¼ cup warm water,~95°F/35°C (75 mL)
- ¼ cup milk (75mL)
- 2¼ tsp instant dry yeast (~6.7 g)
- 3 cups flour (~375g)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp granulated sugar (5 mL)
- 1 tsp salt (5 mL)
- ¼ cup softened butter (~75 g)
- 1 egg white
- Poppy seeds or sesame seeds
Directions
- Remove oven rack and preheat oven to 120°F/50°C.
- Mix warm water with milk in a large Wonderlier® Bowl and add yeast. Let stand for 10 min.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix using a silicone spatula, then knead it until dough is a smooth and compact ball, adding some flour if needed. Seal bowl and let dough rise in a warm place until seal pops open, approx. 30 min.
- Set the Silicone Baking Sheet with Rim on the cold oven rack. Knead dough again then divide into four equal-sized pieces. Shape into rolls and place on the Silicone Baking Sheet.
- Cover buns with a clean, 100% cotton towel and let rise in the warm oven for approx. 15-20 min.
- Remove rack with buns from oven and increase temperature to 350°F/180°C. Remove towel.
- When oven reaches temperature, bake buns for approx. 20 min. Brush tops of buns with egg white and sprinkle poppy or sesame seeds on top. Return to oven and bake again for 5 min
