7½-cup/1.8 L soup server with ladle.

The Essentials Soup Server is great for everyday use and special occasions. In addition to soup, dishes such as stews, pasta, or rice work equally well in the Server. It’s ideal for serving food on the table, storing in the refrigerator, and reheating in the microwave oven —all in one container.

The inside and outside of the server has been etched to resist scratching while an integrated foot rim at the bottom of the bowls prevents damage to working and serving surfaces. Generous handles provide a secure grip to carry food to the table.

Cut-outs on the base and cover allow the ladle to be placed inside while the server is covered, and the knob lets the ladle rest on it for easy transport from kitchen to table. The profile curvatures of the bowl and the ladle are designed to perfectly match, ensuring easy scooping of food.

Tips and Care

  • Clean and dry your product before first use.
  • This Server has not been treated with ColorControl™ coating. Staining may occur on the Server, but this does not affect the functionality of the product. To prevent staining, we do not recommend adding saffron, curry or other coloring spices or reheating tomato- or curry-based foods. Staining will not affect the performance of the product, but is not covered by the Tupperware guarantee.
  • Always rinse the container in cold water immediately after use to help prevent strong food smells or stains.
  • The Essentials Soup Server is dishwasher safe.
  • The Server is safe for food temperatures from 0°C to 120°C (32°F to 248°F) and is designed only for microwave reheating, not cooking. Reheating should be done at medium power (max 600W) for a limited duration. If reheating in the microwave for more than 3 minutes, stop occasionally, remove seal, and stir food to ensure even reheating.
  • Do not overfill.
  • If using the cover during microwave reheating, be sure to turn the cover so the vent hole is open.
  • Do not reheat with the serving spoon or ladle inside the container base. Utensils are not microwave safe.
  • After reheating, lift the product from the microwave with both hands, and let it rest on the worktop for a few minutes to allow the temperature to distribute evenly.
  • During serving, maximum heat is retained when the Server is full and the cover is positioned to close the cut-outs for the ladle.
  • The cover keeps food warm even with the ladle in place. Turn the cover 180° to create space for the ladle; the cover tab fits in the handle to close and retain heat.
  • The Server is not suitable for use in the freezer, conventional oven, or under the broiler.
  • When serving foods, use only the given plastic ladle, or other plastic utensils, to prevent scratching. Abrasive or sharp utensils may damage the inner surface of the bowl.

Safety and Caution

  • Wear oven gloves when removing the container from the microwave.
  • If using the cover during microwave reheating, be careful of hot steam from the cut-out and be sure to lift off the cover away from you to direct the heat and potential steam away.
  • When filled with any food, always transport the Server in an upright position.
